De bekende Dance Classics cd-reeks is weer terug met een nieuwe Dance Classics New Jack Swing Vol. 5. New Jack Swing was vooral een bekend genre in de VS en ontstond eind jaren '80. De muziekvorm kan worden gezien als een vorm van R&B, hip-hop en dance. De grondleggers van dit genre zijn producers Teddy Riley en Gene Grifin, maar ook Curtis Mantronik van de groep Mantronix.
